PETER ARISTONE
Singer, songwriter & producer
Peter Aristone is an independent European artist, singer, songwriter and producer based in Prague.
His English-language songs sit at the intersection of indie rock and an intimate, author-driven approach, with a strong focus on melody, atmosphere and emotion.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with international producers and musicians and toured extensively across Europe and the United States. In 2025, he joined Frank Turner as a support act on his European spring tour.
Originally from Bratislava and long based in Prague, Peter Aristone is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. He studied vocal performance at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory and, alongside his own songwriting, is also active in music production and sound engineering.
After gaining experience across a wide range of bands and genres — from pop to progressive metal — he established himself as a solo artist with an international outlook. His debut album 19 Days in Tetbury (2014), recorded in the UK, featured collaborations with Mel C and James Dean Bradfield of Manic Street Preachers. The single Cool As You, featuring Mel C, found success in both Czech and German charts.
The following period marked a significant shift toward a more personal and organic sound. The EPs Gold and Happiest Accidents, produced by Sacha Skarbek (Adele, James Blunt, Miley Cyrus), became a defining chapter in his career. The title track Gold remains one of his most successful releases, receiving extensive radio airplay in the Czech Republic and abroad and earning an MTV U award in the United States.
Building on this success, Peter toured the United States multiple times as a support act for American soul singer Marc Broussard and performed at numerous shows across Europe. In 2020, he released his second studio album The Hit, produced by Mark Plati (David Bowie, Prince), with Peter also acting as a co-producer. Several singles from the album received regular rotation on Czech radio.
Alongside his international touring, Peter has also supported major Czech and Slovak artists, including Lucie, Chinaski, David Koller and Jana Kirschner. His participation in Frank Turner’s European tour in spring 2025 further reinforced his position on the international live scene.
Peter Aristone’s current work leans toward a more introspective, atmospheric indie sound, with an emphasis on emotion, space and detail. New material, written in part during his stay in Nashville, represents the next step in his ongoing artistic evolution.
